Happy 4th of July

We started out our 4th of July celebration at the Provo parade like we always do. It was hot and we didn't have the best spot but we could see the parade and the kids had fun. Marci and the kids joined us shortly after the parade started.

After the parade we went up Hobble Creek Canyon to meet the rest of the family for grandma's fishing pond, turkey steak barbecue, games, fun, and relaxation.

The kids got really spoiled at Grandma's fishing pond. This was Megan's first time "doing" the fishing pond. You can see how thrilled she is! The kids loved helping her fish though.

They also had a lot of fun playing with their fishing pond prizes.

Karli found some adorable matching outfits for the little baby girls to wear on the 4th. So we had a lot of fun getting some pictures of them in their matching outfits. I had a hard time just choosing one so there are like six.

I think they are going to be best friends!

Our next favorite part of our annual 4th of July get together is going to the creek to play in the water. Eliza is already to go.

The spectators who decided not to get wet. We chose to be the designated picture takers.

It didn't take Mike long to get all the way in the water. He just wished he would have brought his swimming suit. He told me he had so much fun playing in the water. The kids found a place that they could jump from and Mike since he was already wet from head to toe was designated as the catcher. What a good dad and uncle.

Happy 4 Months Meggy!

Our little Megan is 4 months old today. She is such a little angel and just such a special part of our little family. She is so chill and only cries when she is really hungry or really tired or really bugged by her siblings.

She only loves tummy time for a minute or two and then gets upset. She likes to sit up in the bumbo and entertainment saucer so she can see all the chaos her brother and sister cause.

She loves the swing and giggles when Ty pushes her really fast.

She loves her baths. She found her feet this month and plays with them all the time now. She also sucks on her hands a lot. She has been to 7-peaks a couple of times this month and does okay in the water if it is not cold and she is not tired.

She is such a good natured baby and smiles a lot especially with her brother and sister. She giggles which I think is the best sound ever.

She drinks 4-6 ounces of formula at each feeding every 3-4 hours and takes a short morning nap, long afternoon nap, and short evening nap around dinner time. She goes to bed around 8 and wakes up around 7 give or take a little bit. Most the time she sleeps 10-12 hours a night. She is such a good sleeper.
Weight 14 pounds (42nd percentile)
Height 26 inches (95th percentile)
She wears size 2 diapers and still wears some 0-3 month clothes but a lot of them are getting tight on her so she wears a lot of 3-6 month clothes as well.
