July Randomness

After the kids had their dentist appointments they are given a token to get a prize or ride the horse out front. They each had a small cavity (which they both had filled without any numbing...I have tough kids). So they were actually able to get two tokens. They each got a prize and then rode the horse.

Sisters...Sisters...this was too precious not to capture. They both don't hold still for long. Doc must have been quite entertaining.

We decided to sell our bunnies cause they were chewing up our deck. Bye Bye Bunnies.

When we say it is prayer time this is what Megan does. I don't know how she connected this to saying prayers but it is kinda cute.

Eliza=Stitches

While Mike and I were making dinner one night the kids were out front playing with some friends. All the sudden Ty runs in the house and says Eliza's head got cracked open. We ran outside and she had blood running down the front of her face. We grabbed a rag and put some pressure on it and assessed the damage. It was sure that we needed to take her to get stitches. (She had been hit by a a water squirter that the plastic was broken on it which sliced her head open when it was swung...the neighbor boy was swinging at some dandelions in our neighbors front yard and Eliza was too close behind him and she got whacked). We called uncle Brayden but he was on vacation so we went to the instacare here in town. She was given six small stitches. She was so brave and didn't complain once after she got the stitches. Again Eliza is one tough girl. I didn't suspect she would be the first in the family to get stitches caused by an injury. I was sure it would be Tyson and now I suspect Megan is taking after her brother having no fear. Eliza is quite cautious so it surprised us she was the first to get stitches.

Fiesta Days Rodeo

Mike took Tyson to the Fiesta Days rodeo. Afterwards he got to meet a few of the bull riders which he thought was really cool. He even got a signed autograph from one of them and came home and hung it in his room. He is a happy kid.

Bubbles...Bubbles Everywhere

Bubbles
 Bubbles
 Everywhere

How does this work?

 Do I eat it?

"How does it work?"

"Maybe your bubbles work better than mine."

 "I think I figured it out...kind of."

Eppich Family Reunion-Duck Creek

This year for our Eppich family reunion we decided to forgo our normal camping trip up Hobble Creek Canyon and we headed south and rented a cabin at Duck Creek.

Don't let this pretty little smile fool you she wasn't always that happy on the car ride to Duck Creek. We had a little bit of screaming from her as well.

When we got to the cabin the kids jumped out and found the dirt and started exploring. We enjoyed spending time outside and chatting with each other and watching the kids play.

Hey beautiful blue eyes!

Clark filled his truck above the rim with his four wheelers, bikes, and outdoor toys! We all had fun enjoying them.
Ty was in heaven!!

That night after playing hard we were in charge of dinner and made hamburgers for everyone to enjoy.

Friday: French Day
Mom has been doing a lot of family history work on Dad's side and has found hundreds of names from France to do temple work for. So it was decided to make Friday French day and have the food centered around French food and that night mom planned a special slideshow presentation about Grandma Ida. Following this we all watched Ratatouille.

For breakfast mom decided to make crepes (yummy).

After breakfast many of the group headed out to go fishing. Once the rest of us got ready we joined them for some fun and fishing.

After that we came home to have lunch (Karli and Garret provided yummy ham and cheese sandwiches), naps, playtime.

Later on in the afternoon we went in search of the ice cave but were unable to find it and opted to go play at the lake. It was very cold but some still enjoyed playing in the water and fishing as well. While the rest of us hung out on the beach.

When we got home from the lake we put the girls in the bath while dinner was being prepared (The Smyths made a potato soup with french bread and cheese puffs).

Here the kids are making homemade butter for the French bread.

Saturday

We found the ice cave which actually wasn't a hike. When we got to the cave it was just a big room filled with ice so it was very slippery and cold.

Before we left to go home we went on a hike to Cascade Falls. It was absolutely beautiful and we all had fun.

Megan tripped and face planted it. Poor Megan she was so sad.

Our beautiful family

After the hike we found a spot to have a picnic provided by the McBride family.
It was a great little vacation. We had so much fun spending time together as a family.
