Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. There was a whole group of us that crammed into the Rush's home. Lauree had their baby on Monday and still wanted us all to come for Thanksgiving and the weekend. What a super woman. So we had 8 kids and a newborn and 9 adults. It was a full, fun, crazy, loud house.

So we tried to kick Lauree out of her kitchen most of the time. The men actually did a lot of the cooking so we had to document that.

We had a smoked turkey, grilled turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rolls, stuffed pumpkin, and stuffed mushrooms. ...And of course lots of pie.

I think Dad was bribing her with whipping cream for some reason, I can't remember.

The cousins had a lot of fun playing and it was so nice that it was such great weather. The kids went to the playground a few times, played football and played outside a lot.

Grandma also brought supplies for the kids to make gingerbread houses.

We also went to Home Depot to do their kids workshop. They had fun building their banks.

These two (Jaimee and Lars) also got engaged this weekend. We are excited for them to be married the end of December.

On our way home we decided to take a little stop and put some flowers on Dad's grave. Love and miss you so much dad...grandpa!

We are so blessed to have such a great family! I am most thankful for that...Family!

Happy Birthday Eliza

Happy 4th Birthday Doc Eliza!!!
Eliza's birthday was on Sunday so we went to dinner at Rumbi and swimming at the Provo Rec on Friday to celebrate her birthday

Eliza wanted a Doc Mcstuffins party so we gave her the best Doc party we could. We started off the morning with the traditional birthday doughnuts for breakfast. Which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Eliza then had a great time opening her presents. Ty really wanted to get her a present. I helped her make a Doc McStuffins big book of boo-boos. This girl loves to draw so it was a great addition to her Doc McStuffins gifts. She got the Doc McStuffins dress up and doc kit with Lambie. Lambie dances when you push a button and Eliza was dancing right along with her. So cute.

Doc McStuffins then had to give everyone a checkup.

We also put puzzles together, played pin the band-aid on Stuffy, and colored.

Then we frosted and decorated the cake. (Don't worry this was after we had frosted the cake.)

That night we invited everyone over to Grandma's house for presents, cake, and ice cream.

I think the Gum was her most favorite gift of all!

Eliza is 4 Years Old

Our sweet, smart, sassy, stubborn Eliza has turned four years old. She is so strong as she started off the year having open heart surgery to riding the bus to preschool by herself. Her speech has really progressed this year which has really helped her being able to communicate with all of us. She has grown up so much. She is a great little and big sister. We love you our Lizey girl.

First Snowfall

Always love the first snowfall of the season. Our crazy kids wanted to go play in it! They are having fun. They would rather shovel the snow than have a snowball fight or make a snowman. Eliza has just been following Ty around out there like a little shadow. They played out there for quite awhile and then went back out later that afternoon. Tyson was so proud of himself for shoveling the snow off the grass. Megan and me enjoyed watching them and the snow through the window. I hate the cold! I love my kids and their simple love of life.
