Rascal Flatts

So Wednesday night Mike called me and asked if I wanted to go on a date with him to the Rascal Flatts concert on Thursday night. Of course I wanted to but was struggling to say yes because we are trying to save our money. In the end I caved and we went to the concert. It was well worth it. It was lots of fun to get out on a date with him. We left Tyson with his sister and mom to tend and went to the concert with Colin and Melissa. It was a good concert.

Firsts

This past week Tyson had a few firsts. First night he slept in his own room in his crib rather than beside us in the cradle. We decided that since he was sleeping so good most the time 4 hour stretches between feedings, sometimes 5 that we could put him in the crib.

Last Tuesday since it was such a nice day I decided to take Tyson out in the stroller for his first walk. I needed to get out of the house as well. I can't wait for Spring so we can go out more often.

On Wednesday it was free zoo day so Tyson and I went to the zoo with Marci, Cassy, and the kids. Again another first for Ty. First trip to Hogle Zoo and of course he slept through most of it. Here Tyson is with the giraffe.

Smiles

Here are some cute snapshots that we caught of Tyson smiling.

Grandpa

Tyson loves his grandpa. Grandpa will change the baby's diaper, feed, and burp the baby just to get to be with the baby.

I Love My Dad

Little Feet

I am in love with Tysons little feet. He crosses them like this all the time. I think it is so cute.

Prints

So we are filling out Tysons baby book and there is a page to put Tyson's handprints and footprints. So one day we made the ATTEMPT at getting these prints. It was quite messy. The footprints turned out fine but he always has his hands clenched in fists. Everytime he would open his hand we would try and ink it before he clenched it again but it didn't work out too well. We managed to get a couple of messy handprints or partial handprints (smudges) in the book. It was quite memorable.
As you can tell Tysons was not enjoying this experience.
Not only was Tyson a mess but both of us got messy. It took a while for the black to wear off and when we went to my parents one night he had black under his nails and Mike told them that Tyson was helping him change the oil in the car.

Cousins

When Mike and I went to babysit for Cassy and Brayden the boys actually became interested for the first time in holding baby Tyson. They are such good cousins.

Look How Big

Tyson is growing and changing so much. I can't believe he is already a month old.
