December Time

...Grandpa James was able to stay with us for a few days when he was here from Ohio...

...the kids made their own sled out of a diaper box...

...the kids enjoyed a little playtime at the mall...

...we had a slumber party with cousins...

...and spent time coloring and other little things to fill our month of December.

Merry Christmas

This was after "Santa" had come and gone and left all the Christmas surprises for everyone.

Eliza received a wiggle car, playmags, a reading saucer with some books, puzzles an outfit, underwear and socks, the movie Doc Mcstuffins, and other odds and ends in her stocking (princess figures, nailpolish, toothbrush, floss, gum, pez).
Meg received a baby doll with accessories and a high chair. She got some books, puzzles, Housekeeping set, outfits, pjs, socks, and stocking stuffers (hair clips, wand, phone, recorder, candy).
Ty received a couple of lego sets and minifigures, cowboy boots, a watch, outfit, books, underwear, socks, army men, the movie Big Hero 6 and  stocking stuffers (pokemon cards, hot wheels cars, toothbrush, floss, gum, candy, tie).

Mom got a Nume curling wand, a Six Sisters stuff recipe book, an outfit and stocking stuffers.
Dad got a foodsaver, pocket knife, tie, and stocking stuffers.

We gave the kids a bunch a play kitchen food and accessories to add to their play kitchen.

Grandma gave each of the grandkids these coin sorters. They were a huge hit on Christmas morning. Our kids spent a lot of time playing with them.

Everyone was happy and enjoyed those gifts they received. We had an enjoyable morning opening and playing with gifts. Then we cleaned up a bit and started on food prep for dinner as Mike's family was coming to stay with us and have Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Eppich's house and had a great dinner. The kids portrayed the Christmas story. Tyson was Joseph, Eliza was Mary, and Megan was a "wandering" shepherd.

After the Nativity story the kids opened their new Christmas pajamas. What a bunch of excited kiddos.

Santa Clause

Mike took the kids to the North Pole at 7-peaks where they were able to see Santa Clause. It was a very cold night and the kids weren't too thrilled because it was so cold but they were at least able to see Santa before Christmas was here.

Gingerbread houses

The last couple of years we have started building gingerbread houses sometime during the Christmas season. The kids enjoy putting them together and adding the candy decorations but they never last long. They always seem to fall apart and then the kids just enjoy eating the candy.

Fishing

Over the Christmas break our neighbors invited Mike and Tyson to go fishing in the very cold weather. They went up somewhere by deer creek and were able to catch a few fish. I love that proud smile on Ty's face.

Hang Time

Tyson and Eliza were invited to a birthday party at Hang Time for Ty's friend Tristen. They had a great time so much so that all the pictures are a little blurry because they wouldn't stop moving for even a second. There are only a couple of pictures of Tyson cause no one could keep up with him.

Ty and Flat Gingy

Tyson made "Flat Gingy" at school. He had an assignment to bring Flat Gingy home and do some type of activity with him, take a picture, and then go back to school and share. The days before Christmas we have books which are wrapped up and the kids get to choose one to read a night and this is what Tyson chose to do with Flat Gingy. What a fun little project.
