Mike got a great opportunity to take scuba lessons for a great deal. He has been wanting to do this for a long time and he finally got the chance. So for his birthday and Christmas gift this is what he got...scuba lessons. He is having so much fun and enjoying every minute of this. Hopefully he will be able to go somewhere really fun to go diving soon.

Pregnant Belly's

This is me and my sister-in-law Lauree comparing pregnant belly's. I am 29 weeks and she is 34 weeks. We are both having baby boys that are going to be about 5 or so weeks apart. They are going to be best of friends.

Baby Bedding

I asked my mom to make me a quilt for our baby and I gave her a picture of what I wanted and this is what it turned out to be. I came home from work one night and she had it all set up. It turned out so cute. Thanks mom for the baby bedding!

Baby News

For all of those who do not know Mike and I expecting a baby in January. We are very excited for the little addition to our family. We are having a baby boy. The due date is January 1, 2009. It has been a long four months having to deal with being VERY sick but over the last month or so it has lightened up and I have been much better. It is so much fun to feel the baby moving and kicking inside of me. It is worth every minute.

Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound for you all to enjoy!

For those who have a hard time telling what the picture is of, this is a direct face shot of the baby.

This is showing his little bottom and that he is a little boy.

This is a picture of our baby's cute little feet. I love this picture!

Here is my little belly at 22 weeks along.

What a Fun Night

This past Friday, Mike and I got together with our old roomates and went to dinner at Red Robin, took a walk to a nearby playgrond, and watched the Jazz game. It felt like old times when we used to do almost everything together. It was fun to catch up and have a nice evening together even though the Jazz lost.

Graduation

Friday, March 25, 2008 I graduated from Utah Valley State College (UVSC) with my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. It has been a long journey but well worth it. I finished my last final on Thursday and thought to myself that it was the last final I will take (unless I decide to go for my Masters...that will be a long ways away though.) What a great feeling. I have had so much support through my education and at graduation and want to thank everyone who has been a support to me. I greatly appreciate it. I am so excited to be done and on to the next stage of my life...if I can only figure out what that is!

Those family members who attended my graduation were my wonderful husband Mike, my awesome parents, my lovely sisters-Marci, Cassy, and Karli, and my mother-in-law Camille.

That night we celebrated with a barbeque with my family and friends. We all had a wonderful time celebrating.

Old Friends

On Saturday, I went to a bridal shower for my old roomate, Lacie. It was lots of fun to see them after so long. We had a lot of fun catching up and spending time together.

Bingo

Our family has taken up Bingo as a fun activity when we get together. It is fun for the younger kids and older kids.

Funny Snowman?

So a few weeks ago after we had one of our big snowstorms I was driving home from school and saw this snowman and could not resist taking a picture of it. If you look really closely, in his hand you will be able to see a Mt. Dew can. Whoever did this had a lot of fun.

Big Events

The next few months are going to mark many big events for us.

-UVSC graduation is April 25th

-I am currently searching for a new job in my field which is business management (if anyone knows of any job openings, let me know)

-We are planning to move in July when our contract ends

-Our second year anniversary is also coming up on July 1st. How time flies!

We are both excited for the upcoming events and the good changes it will bring to our lives.

Busy Bodies

I have not posted because I have been so busy with school and I have not done too much besides school since it started in January. Mike and I are very busy throughout the week between school, homework, work, and church callings. Mike just received a new calling as assistant scout master for the 11 year olds that keeps him busy. I am in my last semester of school and am so excited. I have a big case of senioritis once again.

The courses I am taking are:
-Intro to Business (my counselor was kind enough to substitute this class in for a higher elective because of my busy semester.)
-Internet Marketing
-Human Resource Management
-Strategic Management
-Strategic Management Lab (Capstone Simulation)
-Institute (Teachings of the Living Prophets)

Mike is also in school working on his generals.
He is taking:
-Math 1010
-Geology
-Institute (Eternal Marriage)
