Eliza and her blankie
Lately, Eliza has been really attached to her blanket. It was my baby blanket when I was a baby. We didn't even give it to her until she was ten or so months old. She slept and cuddled with a different one until then. She has really grown to love this little blankie. The last week or so when she gets upset or in need of some comfort she will run to her crib and try to pull it through the slats. Once she gets it she is happy as can be. I caught her in the act. She got mad, ran to her room, tried to pull the blankie out (if she can't get it out it makes her even more upset), once she got it, it was all smiles.

Puppet Day
For Puppet Day the kids teacher put on a sock puppet show for them which they all just absolutely loved. They sand Itsy Bitsy Spider, they were given trash puppets (puppets that help pick up trash around the house), and they got to make their own sock puppets.

My Best Little Helper
I think I have one of the best helpers. Yes, Tyson does have his days when he won't help with anything I ask but most days he will do most things that I ask. He has a hard time cleaning up his toys by himself for some reason but he is a pretty handy helper. Well Ty loves to help vacuum. Some days he tells me "Mom the house is a mess (there may be a couple crumbs on the floor) we need to vacuum." Some days the house is as real big mess but I love when he says this when its not just so he can help vacuum. Usually I just let Ty help me push the vacuum which takes twice as long as when I do it myself so I try to find anything else he can do besides help me. Well today the house truely was a mess so I said Ty I will let you vacuum yourself while I clean the kitchen. He actually did a pretty good job. He would take the attachment off and do by the walls and if he saw a crumb right up next to the wall that he couldn't get he would pull it out into the middle of the floor (he has been watching me) and then vacuum it up. If he found a piece of garbage too big for the vacuum he would run it to me so I could throw it away (this is normally his job). He even did the couch for me. I was VERY impressed by him. However, because of the way I am I did go back all over the house with the vacuum to make sure nothing was missed and surprising I don't think there was much. Good Job Ty.

Camping
We left for camping with our friends June 14th and headed to Yankee Meadows Campground. Camping is a lot of work to prepare for and clean up but it is sure fun once you get there. The kids had so much fun. Eliza ate more dirt than she did food and you could not keep them clean at all. I had to get over that really quickly. The boys did a lot of fishing and the girls did a lot of talking. We all had a good time and the kids slept great once they got to sleep. It was a great campout.
