Happy Halloween

We started off our day by going to Tyson's costume parade at his school.

Here are my cute little munchkins all dressed up for Halloween with their pumpkins

The cutest flower you ever did see

The bravest firefighter there ever was

And the smartest Doc...Doc Mcstuffins

My three adorable children

We went to Grandma's house and had chili-as per tradition-and then took the kids around mom's neighborhood for trick-or-treating.

Happy Halloween!

Random Fun in October

Dad had left on a camp out with the young men and left us unattended so we took the opportunity to have a popcorn movie night.

We love the Art City Donut truck. So when we learned that they were going to be at Jakers we headed back there that night after pumpkin day and grabbed us some yummy goodness.

We went to the park and were able to enjoy the sunshine on one of the last warm days in the fall. This picture just show pure happiness. When I look at the picture, it reminds me of their sweet giggles that day. The sweetest sound. Love these girls.

It doesn't look like Megan cares too much that Sarah is laying on her lap. What fun these two are going to have.

The last three girls born in the family-Sarah, Megan, and Payzlee.

I got Tyson and Eliza playing princesses. Tyson obviously didn't want to be caught playing princesses so he tried to run away but I still wanted to capture him playing with his sisters. There is probably a lot more of this in his future.

Family Pictures

For Mom's mother's day and birthday gift we decided to pitch in to get a new family picture. We planned on doing it after pumpkin day since the whole family would be together. Mom still wanted to get the family picture as planned after dad passed away. We are missing you dad.

FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!

Annual Pumpkin Day

Before Dad passed away he told me to make sure that we keep doing our family traditions. So we continued our annual pumpkin day tradition today. We met at Jaker's Pumpkin Patch. We started off playing in the corn...

...Meg enjoyed a little wagon ride...

...we had fun looking at the the animals...

...and taking a ride on the hay wagon-which is Tyson's most favorite part of pumpkin day.

After the pumpkin patch we went back to Grandma's house and had a turkey steak lunch and then we took our perfectly picked out pumpkins and carved/painted them.

Ooey, gooey, sticky pumpkin guts

After Ty and Eliza carved their pumpkins they enjoyed painting them too.

This is one of our most favorite holiday family traditions. It was so good to be be together as a family and enjoy this day having fun.

BYU Game

Mike and Tyson had a great time going to the BYU homecoming game tonight. BYU played Nevada and lost 35-42. They said it was a good game. Mike got his two tickets from Cassy who had some extra tickets. Cassy's family went and Mike and Tyson joined them. Marci and Dan also went but had seats right behind Nevada's team. Cassy's family left at halftime since it was such a late game starting at 8 PM. Marci told Mike there was some empty seats by them so at halftime Mike, Tyson and Parker went down and enjoyed the seats closer to the field.

BYU Homecoming Parade

We enjoyed going to the BYU homecoming parade. The kids had a lot of fun and got way too much candy. GO BYU!

Meggy enjoying her first sucker. Yummy!

Hiking Y Mountain

Mike wanted to take Tyson to hike to the Y. When Marci said her family was going to hike it too they decided to all go together. Along the hike they spotted a tarantula. Tyson was pretty excited about that. Mike was pretty sore the next day after the hike. They had fun while they were hiking though,
