March

We had a few weeks break with the camera because Mike dropped it and broke it so we were deciding on what to get and found a really nice camera so we are back in the picture taking business. Here are just some random fun shots of the kids.

We love bathtime at our house.

Silly Eliza. We have started putting her at the table more than in the highchair and giving her plates. Yes, most the time the food from the plate gets spilled on the floor but she is getting better at eating on a plate.

We took the kids to the mall and let them play on rides for a little while. They had a lot of fun. Simple, inexpensive activity which they both love. While at the mall we had dinner at Red Robin and I got a little shopping in for some much needed items.

So I saw this idea on pinterest to start collecting lids from different items and kids will love it. So I put it to the test since think about it how many things do you throw away that have lids on them. So I just thought about it one day and collected about 3-4 different things-not only lids but we had an empty spice bottle and vitamin bottle and laundry scoop. I just keep adding to this random box of things. I soon realized I was spending to much money on toys. This is all that is needed. I pull it out for Eliza while I am cooking dinner and she (also Tyson) love it and spend a lot of time playing with this box of random items. They both love to watch me make dinner. If I don't have Eliza up on the counter while I am cooking dinner she will sit and tug on my legs and scream at me until I lift her up to the counter. She has pretty much claimed this spot every night. Love her cute face.

St. Patricks Day

I didn't do too much for St. Patricks Day but I did want to do a little something so I made some green breakfast (pancakes, eggs, and kiwi) and sent the kids on a treasure hunt to see what Mr. Leprechaun left them. They followed the rainbow (four leaf clovers in the colors of the rainbow) to find their treasure. (Ty even helped Eliza get a clover). The silly leprechaun left their treasure in the oven. And it took a whole whopping 2 seconds for them to open up their treat.

Learning School

We have been having fun at learning school. We did an All about Me theme where we spotlighted each of the kids so they could learn a little bit about each other...

...we decorated cookies for valentines day...

...We have learned about different animals and where they live. This day it was forest animals where they got to fish and got magnifying glasses to see different items from the forest.

...This day was all about farm animals where they got to pretend to be different animals, they each got a pig nose (and Ty wore his around all day long), got to feel how you "milk a cow" and had doughnuts.

As you can see in the above picture Eliza just wants to be doing what they are all doing. She wants to be in the action and doing everything they are. It seems like she is just becoming part of the group. She has just grown up so much since we have started this little school.

Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken recently and we got some really cute shots. Tyson was a little shy in most of them and Eliza had a hard time and cried a lot but we still managed to get a couple cute ones of her.
