Easter Weekend

Coloring Easter Eggs

We started off Easter weekend by coloring eggs on Friday night.

Easter Baskets

Then Saturday morning the kids woke up to their Easter baskets from the Easter bunny. (We like to celebrate this part of Easter on Saturday so we can focus on the Savior on Sunday.)

Easter Egg Hunt #1
After finding his easter basket Tyson went around the house on an easter egg hunt.

Golf Clubs

Mom trying to show Ty how to play with the golf clubs.

Easter Egg Hunt #2

Next we went over to Marci's house and had another egg hunt outside. Tyson was more interested in opening the eggs to eat all the candy.

Our Cute Kids

This was the best easter picture we could get. I was going to get one of them on Easter Sunday in their church clothes but we didn't have enough time before church because Tyson was taking a nap and then after Eliza was sleeping and Ty got out of his church clothes so hence no Sunday Easter picture like I was planning.

Cousins

Playdough

This was the first time that Tyson has played with playdough and it kept him entertained for quite awhile. So anything that keeps Tyson occupied for more than 5 minutes I am all game for. So I tried making it at home and it didn't turn out so good so I just went and bought some.

Rolling Eggs
Later that day we went to a hill and rolled easter eggs down the hill (in the rain). I didn't get very many pictures because Tyson started to climb down the hill and fell down and got hurt so we had to take care of him. It was fun though to go and roll Easter eggs again though.

BBQ
No pictures, but we went back to Marci's and had a bbq. It was a very fun day.

Family Pictures

We went and had our family pictures taken. We had some that turned out really cute. It was however quite the adventure. We had to wait around for about an hour, so Eliza got hungry and Tyson got very restless and almost impossible to work with by the end of the pictures. But we still managed to get some good ones. The hardest ones to get were of Tyson and the two kids together so there are only a couple.

Cereal...Yummy?

This was Eliza's first taste of rice cereal. She was not interested at all. We tried it for two days and then gave her a break because she hasn't been feeling well the last several days so once she gets feeling better we will try again and continue to see how she does. Maybe once she is feeling better she will grasp onto it and enjoy it!? We will see. Hopefully she will do better with the solids than she does with the bottle. Drinking a bottle of formula is somewhat of not an enjoyable experience at times for her. Somedays she would do really well and eat really well and others she would hardly want to drink anything at all. She is having an especially hard time right now that she is not feeling good (which is to be expected.) However, before she got sick she was consistently eating quite well so I hope she gets back to that soon.
