We started out our 4th of July celebration at the Provo parade like we always do. It was hot and we didn't have the best spot but we could see the parade and the kids had fun. Marci and the kids joined us shortly after the parade started.
After the parade we went up Hobble Creek Canyon to meet the rest of the family for grandma's fishing pond, turkey steak barbecue, games, fun, and relaxation.
The kids got really spoiled at Grandma's fishing pond. This was Megan's first time "doing" the fishing pond. You can see how thrilled she is! The kids loved helping her fish though.
They also had a lot of fun playing with their fishing pond prizes.
Karli found some adorable matching outfits for the little baby girls to wear on the 4th. So we had a lot of fun getting some pictures of them in their matching outfits. I had a hard time just choosing one so there are like six.

Our next favorite part of our annual 4th of July get together is going to the creek to play in the water. Eliza is already to go.
The spectators who decided not to get wet. We chose to be the designated picture takers.
It didn't take Mike long to get all the way in the water. He just wished he would have brought his swimming suit. He told me he had so much fun playing in the water. The kids found a place that they could jump from and Mike since he was already wet from head to toe was designated as the catcher. What a good dad and uncle.
