Dear Family and Friends,
It has been an eventful year in which so many things have occurred. In March we went to Vegas and celebrated our friends Aaron and Shalene's wedding. In May we went camping with friends to Navajo Lake over the Memorial Weekend. Mike's sister Lauree came home from her mission from Guam in May. We celebrated our first anniversary on July 1st at a bed and breakfast in Huntsville. Also in July we traveled with Mike's family from Provo to Ohio to visit his grandma and to spend some time with her. In August we spent a few days with my work at Lake Powell "cooling off." In October, Mike's grandmother passed away which meant another trip for Mike out to Ohio to attend the funeral and our first time apart from each other since we have been married. And in December his sister was married to Chris Rush.
Mike began his education this January. He has been working on his generals and is still deciding on what he wants to do when he grows up. He continues to work for the church welfare at Deseret Meat in Spanish Fork. Mike was the home teaching district leader and was recently released.
I am still continuing my education and will graduated UVSC in May 2008 with a bachelors degree in Business Management. I still work at Cascade Family Medicine as a receptionist. I am currently the primary pianoist for our ward and love being in the primary. I have recently picked up the hobby of blogging and love it.
We want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas
Extreme Cheer Factor
The day after the wedding Mike's aunt Marilyn and uncle Chris hosted a Christmas party with lots of fun activities. We were seperated into groups and chose names for our groups. We then did activities that were judged and points were given for the winner of the activities. The events included: bra humbug, Santa shoots...he scores, elf bowling, and cookie decorating.
We also had a couple more activities that I did not get pictures of. There was a jar of money that we had to guess how much money was in the jar. The other activity was that we each got a package of pillsbury sugar cookie dough and were told to make cookie(s) with the dough with the Christmas theme.
After the activites we headed to the Skybox at Gateway where we played in the arcade and ate dinner.
BRA HUMBUG
For this activity one person in the group would wear a bra and the other person would have to undo the bra one handed with a snow glove on. The group that did it the fastest one the competition.
SANTA SHOOTS...HE SCORES
For this activity one person would wear a santa hat that covered their eyes as a blindfold and they would have to toss a ball into the basket that was worn on the head of the other team member. The group that got the most balls in the basket one the competition.

ELF BOWLING
ELF BOWLING
For this activity each group created an elf that they believed would not easily tip over. They were set up as the pins and then each person from each group got a chance to bowl and the point was to not hit over their own elf.
We also had a couple more activities that I did not get pictures of. There was a jar of money that we had to guess how much money was in the jar. The other activity was that we each got a package of pillsbury sugar cookie dough and were told to make cookie(s) with the dough with the Christmas theme.

Wedding Bells
On Thursday, December 20, Mike's sister got married to Chris Rush in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a very fun filled day. First we went to the sealing at the temple, then off to Memory Grove for the luncheon, back to the temple for family pictures, and then off to the reception at the Joseph Smith building which included food, Santa, and dancing. What a fun day.

About Us
Mike and I met July 2004 while I was living in Provo at the Rain Tree Apartments. My roomate and I were sitting on the steps of our apartment building. Mike was visiting some friends in our same building and were in the midst of a water fight when we were "welcomed" into the water fight. We were married July 1, 2006 in the Manti Temple. Currenlty, we are both working and attending school. I am working at Cascade Family Medicine as a receptionist and am attending UVSC. I am studying Business Management and will graduate in May 2008 with my Bachelor's degree. Mike works for the church welfare at Deserert Meat and is attending UVSC as well working on his generals.
