Day 24-Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas Eve. We went to Grandpa and Grandma Eppich's for a very nice dinner then why the parent's cleaned up Grandpa and Grandma took the kids downstairs to get costumed and practice for the pageant. Grandma added a few animals and backdrop this year to add to the pageant. What a great way to portray the night the Savior was born.
This is Joseph and Mary (aka Parker and Emma) traveling to Bethlehem on the donkey.

Coy played the innkeeper and Lucy played our angel. Here she is announcing the birth of our Savior to the Shepherds.

Kaylee, Brenna, and Eliza played our shepherds

Tyson and Ian played our wise men who brought gold, frankincese and myrrh to the Savior.

All the kids then sang some favorite Christmas songs to us...

Grandpa read the Christmas story from the bible to all of us...

Then the kids opened up their new Christmas jammies

And someone almost always gets the chance to get tickled before leaving Grandpa's house. He is known for his tickle attacks.

When we got home we had to leave milk and cookies for Santa

Day 23-Decorate Christmas Trees

December 23rd-Day 23

Song: Who is the Child

Scripture: Luke 2: 39-40

Activity: Decorate Christmas Tree's
This was such a fun activity. Instead of doing one big gingerbread houses we decided that it would be more fun for the kids to be able to do their own Christmas Tree. We just let the kids go at it and they ate a lot of frosting and the tree's also turned out cute.
