This is not their room. I don't actually have the bedding set up in the crib quite yet, but I wanted to show the set off. And I didn't use the curtain because it only came with one valance and they have a large window in their room so my mom made some curtains for me.
So once I had the bedding set I was able to use the colors to decorate the room. I re-did Tyson's name and got half of the baby girls done. Just have to put the name on it and glue the bows on. We are between two names Paige and Eliza so I didn't finish hers yet. I think we are leaning more towards Eliza and I asked Mike if he wanted me to just put that on it and he said no. I asked him if it was because he was not sure of the name or what and he said, "its because I am not so sure you are completely set on it." So they are not done yet. But I love how Tyson's turned out.
The next thing I did for the room is make a sign to put above the window. I had my dad cut the board and used my cricut to do the lettering. It turned out really cute. My mom made the curtains for me. I picked out the fabric to match the rest of the bedding and she did all the hard work. They turned out perfect. Thanks mom.
The next thing I did was take the curtains that I did not use from the bedding set and covered an artists canvas mat and put ribbon on it to make a bow board. I only have three bows completed so I have a little work to go in that area.
I also wanted a car seat cover but didn't want to pay the $30-$40 on it so I went and picked out some fabric and had my mom make it for me. It only cost about $10 and my mom said it was pretty easy and that it only took her about 30 min to do. I didn't put it on my car seat to showcase it because the car seat is currently buried in the far corner under a whole pile of stuff in our storage unit. That is on my list of things to do, is unbury the carseat.
Other things I need to do before the baby comes is finish my Christmas shopping. Because I am not going to be able to move after my c-section for the first couple of weeks and then I doubt I will want to go out too much when I am starting to move. I will still be trying to figure out how to handle two kids. Plus it will most likely be cold and snowy.
I also need to sell me single stroller. I have been trying on KSL but no one has wanted it. I need to sell it before I can get the double stroller I want because we don't have room for both. This is the double stroller I want. It is expensive but we have been saving up for it.
So we are almost ready for this baby to arrive. I think we have almost everything ready except those last few things I needed to do.
The room is decorated, her clothes are washed and have found a space in the chest of drawers. I did this the same time I was switching over Tyson's summer clothes to fall/winter clothes. I got diapers, binkies, and a few pink blankets. Now I just have to wait out the last 6 weeks. I can't wait to meet our baby girl.

what type of stroller are you trying to sell? Just wondering so I can put the word out. By the way, I love your new nursery. Happy nesting!

Tooooooo cute! Looks like you are all ready. :)
That stroller looks like a Trend. Is it? I have a Trend Sit 'n Stand, so it is a bit different. It doesn't have a seat in the back like in the front, but instead has a platform to stand on and a little seat that sits backwards. I really like it and it is smaller than a normal double. Claire doesn't like to be in the stroller half the time anyway, so it works great. :)
Char! It is all SO adorable!
Very creative and the colors are great. You really know how to make things look nice...I am still trying to find a stroller that will accomodate us. Right now we are borrowing one from Lotus. But it is old and falling apart. Although without a double stroller I don't think I would be able to do anything by myself!
