Christmas Tree Decorating

One of the things I have been waiting for since we got into our house was to get a real, nice full christmas tree. Well we got one from Costco strapped it to the top of the minivan and brought it home. 

That night we got it all set up and all helped put the lights and decorations up. It makes the house smell so good.

Both of the kids wanted to put the star on the top so they each got a turn.

And just because we could and had the room we set up our other smaller tree downstairs.

We love Christmas time and decorating the house and trees and I have the best helpers to do it.

Bean Museum and Bowling

While everyone was here for the Thanksgiving holiday on Friday we decided to all go have some fun. We went to the bean museum to see all the animals. The kids and adults all enjoyed that.

After the bean museum we went to Panda Express for lunch and then off to Fat Cats for some bowling fun. We couldn't keep Meg away from the bowling balls and lanes she loved it.

This year we had Thanksgiving at moms house. She made some delicious food.

After dinner the kids went to the park for a little while why we cleaned up. When they got back we had dessert and some of us played games, some put together puzzles and others just hung out and enjoyed each other.

Eliza and I did this for her preschool class for her birthday

Eliza is such a sweet, sassy little girl. She is so smart and talented. Eliza loves pretend play (especially baby dolls and kitchen). She loves to draw, color, cut. She is progressing so much on her speech. This past year she moved to a new house, made new friends, and started a new school. She is doing awesome. We love having this amazing little girl in our family.

Eliza had been begging for a dollhouse for her birthday and so Miss Eliza got it for her birthday.

Eliza was so excited when she found her birthday present all set up and waiting for her to play with on her birthday.

For her birthday she requested to go swimming at Grandma's pool and out to dinner at McDonalds. We invited our cousins and many were able to join us for the fun. Then we headed back to our house for pink cupcakes and ice cream.

She was spoiled with art supplies, doll clothes, clothes, nailpolish and lipgloss, candy and money

I think she loved having many of her cousins there and having the attention on her.
