Our Little Soccer Player

Tyson had fun learning how to play soccer and playing at his games.  He was quite a good little player.  He made at least one goal.

He loved being the goalie. He would always volunteer to be the goalie.

Maybe he liked being the goalie so he could hang on the goal nets.

Thanksgiving Point Farm

Karli gets a discount at Thanksgiving Point so she invited us up to go to the farm with her. We hadn't been before and I knew the kids would love it so we took her up on her offer. We all had a lot of fun.

Aren't these two just the cutest? I think they are going to have a lot of fun since they are so close in age. Hopefully best friends.

Feeding the goats

Tyson really loved the horses. He couldn't handle walking around just looking at all the animals knowing he could get on the pony and go for a ride.

Eliza liked the pony ride for awhile but then got nervous and didn't want to finish out her rider. I think she had fun for a few minutes thought.

We then got to go on a wagon ride pulled by a tractor that took us around the farm. Another one of the kids highlights of the farm.

And last but not least we were there when they milk the cow so anyone can take a turn to milk the cow. Ty, Mike, and Garret took the opportunity the rest of us opted out. They thought it was pretty cool though.

Happy Birthday Chari!

Today we celebrated my birthday. We started off the morning by going to a ward party for breakfast. We had lunch and I went to Costco and Macey's shopping by myself which is a present itself. We then opened presents I was given a new Shark vacuum and a pair of shoes. So excited. Lauree and Chris came down with their family and watched the kids while Mike and I went on a date to Tucanos and then the owls baseball game. It was great celebrating the day with my family.

Tyson's Kindergarten Class

Off to School!

It was so exciting for the kids to start school this year and for me to send them off. No, I am not one of those moms who cries when I send them off to school. It is fun for me to see them grow and learn and enjoy going to school. Tyson started kindergarten the end of August. His teacher is Mrs. Erickson. He has a couple of friends from the ward, one friend from t-ball, and a couple from his preschool class from last year. He loves school.

On the way home from walking Tyson to school the first day, Eliza was a little sad she couldn't go with Tyson to school so I asked her what she wanted to do and she said paint. I don't get out the paints too often so this was really fun for her and she painted all morning long.

I got this picture from Tyson's teacher the first night of school. I am so glad she sent it to me.

Today is Eliza's first day of preschool this year. She is going to the same preschool with Miss Michelle that she went to last year. She gets to ride the bus to school. She goes on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings so I am left home alone with Megan which is kinda weird and fun and quiet.

Just Because

I was taking Megan's 6 month pictures when these two also wanted their picture taken. Eliza ran and got all princessed up so I could take her picture. Ty was helping me with dinner and was so proud that he made the salad for dinner all by himself. I am so proud of these kiddos.

Megan at 6 Months

Our little Megan is 6 months old.
Weight 16.4 lbs (41%)
Height: 27 inches (99%)
So this says she is tall and skinny...I say she is perfect.

Megan is the center of attention a lot of times at our house. The kids love to play with her and make her laugh. She is such a good baby. She loves attention and to be talked to. If she doesn't get this for long periods of time she can get whiny.

She rolls over both from tummy to back and back to tummy. She sits up be herself. She still falls a lot so if I am doing stuff around the house I put her in the boppy pillow in case she does topple over.

She is ticklish and has the cutest little giggle. She loves her tongue and loves to stick it out and smack it. She will reach for us when she wants to be held. She is a very wiggly baby and just wants to be moving all the time.

She wears 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. Hus the best chubby legs. I love it.

She sleeps great. She sleeps all night long and takes two naps a day most days. One morning nap and one afternoon nap but then is ready for bed by 7 but will most often sleep till 7 the next morning.

It is funny there are times when I am walking around the house going from room to room and when she sees me she is happy and fine but when I leave to a different room she gets mad and starts to cry. When I come back into the room she is happy again. She just wants all of my attention.

She is not a huge fan of tummy time but has started to scoot just a little bit.

Loves her swaddle blankets and likes to suck on them, likes her saucer, likes to be sitting up, she just loves to look around and see what is going on around her.

She drinks 5-6 ounces of formula about 5 times a day and eats solids twice a day. She does really good with her baby food. Her favorite I think is sweet potatoes. She loves to eat them from the pouches. She just sucks it right up. She loves crackers but still chokes on them a little. She likes apple juice from a sippy cup but can't figure out how to hold the cup by herself yet.

She is just growing up too fast. She is so cute and happy and we love having our little Meg in our family.

Ogden Temple Open House

On labor day we got together with the whole Eppich clan (including Kerry, Sheri and their family and Melanie) and went through the Ogden Temple open house. It was absolutely beautiful. It was fun to be able to share this experience with my kids. Tyson asked us where people get married in the temple so it was fun to show him the sealing rooms where couples are sealed/married together. We had a great morning at the temple and then headed to a park and had a pizza lunch with everyone.
