So I guess Tyson is taking after his momma. Let me tell you the story. We went to Mike's brother's house to help him move. Mike had his truck pulled first into the driveway and our car was behind the truck several feet. We were in the house grabbing things and bringing them out and putting them in the truck. While we were loading the truck Tyson and his little friend were playing outside and had hopped in the truck to play. We were all inside and Tyson's little friend comes running in and says, "Tyson is making the truck move!" (or something to that effect) Mike ran down the stairs and I followed shortly behind. The tailgate was down on the truck and Mike had forgotten to put the emergency brake on and I guess Ty shifted into neutral or something and the tailgate rammed into the front of our car bending the hood quite a bit. Things could have been much worse but everyone was fine, Tyson was just scared and shook up a bit. Maybe this was all my fault because Mike told me to just go home and he would help his brother and meet me at home. However, I was being stubborn and said the more hands to help the faster we can be done and all can go home. The car is fine we bent the hood back as best as we could. It still sticks up a little bit but the bra on our car hides most of the damage.
What I am grateful for:
1. That Eliza was in the house with us.
2. That the car was behind the truck so it stopped the truck from going farther into the busy street and causing a much bigger accident.
3. That nobody got hurt in this little accident.
What I have learned from this accident:
1. Don't let Tyson play in the truck.
2. Maybe I should have listened to Mike and gone home with the kids and this wouldn't have happened.
3. I need to be better at watching Tyson.
So, why is Tyson like his momma? I was about five when I took a car up to our front porch. I guess Tyson just wanted to get an earlier start to beat the record!
