April Days

Tyson lost his first top tooth. That makes three total that he has lost.

Ever since Tyson was a baby he has never liked cereal. He has a strong sense of smell and if he doesn't like the way something smells he won't eat it (sounds like anyone right?) I think this could be his problem with cereal--but I am not sure. Lately he has been very brave and been trying many things he hasn't liked before.
At school they do free breakfast. Tyson has loved going to school early and getting breakfast and meeting his friends before school starts. Most the time I feed him before he goes because he tends to talk and play more than eat and I want to make sure he is getting a good breakfast. Sometimes he may grab something there at breakfast to eat too. Well one day he came home from school and pulled Cinnamon Toasters out of his backpack and said guess what mom I like these. This was shocking coming from this boy. He said this is the only kind I like and the only kind I will eat. So he asked me if I would buy some at the store for him to have at home. He still will rarely eat them but on occasion he will.

We went to a spring festival in Provo and found Spiderman and Batman.

This is when the kids wore their new Easter clothes to church.I just wanted one picture of all of them in the new church clothes. Well Megan would not have it. They are still pretty adorable. Real life. Not every picture can be all smiles. And hence since Megan was throwing a fit and we were headed out the door to church I only snapped the one picture.

The kids having fun at our new house.

Mike told me before we moved in to our new home that he was excited to take care of the yard and mow the lawn. He said the yard is going to be his baby. I told him he can do the yard and I will take care of the inside. It has worked out great. Ty loves to be right there helping dad with anything in the yard. He is a hard worker and the best boy. Following in dads footsteps!
