Happy, Happy Birthday Tyson! I hope that today is the best birthday ever. I can't believe you are already 6 years old. You bring us so much joy and happiness. I love the way you smile and get so happy and excited. We love you. Happy Birthday.
When I asked Tyson what he wanted for his birthday he told me he wanted a new scooter and cash. Tyson started out the morning by opening his 1st birthday gift before school. A brand new scooter.
Then he was off to school where I got to go into his classroom and do a spotlight on him. We made a poster about him and read his favorite book and hand out a birthday treat (his choice was a gum sucker). While he was at school we got ready for the day and his birthday. I went to the store and got balloons (we put a dollar in each balloon...we got 6 balloons-six dollars for our six year old...for the cash that he wanted). We also decorated his cake which we thought out was so cool and made the dirt cups for his party that night that he wanted to have.
After school Tyson got to open his second present. We wanted to keep him in a little bit of anticipation and drag his birthday out all day long. He has been eyeing this toy at the store for a long time so I finally picked it up for him for his birthday.
After lunch he chose his activity to be going to Trafalga. We had a great time. It was the perfect time to go. It was right in the middle of the day so it wasn't crowded at all and we got to do everything we wanted to do. His first activity rock climbing, followed by arcade games, and mini golfing.
This little one slept most of the time in her carseat while we were there. She did wake up and hang out with us for awhile though. What a beautiful, happy girl. |
Eliza has great technique. |
Tyson requested a construction party. He said he wanted his cousins there so we had a family party...much easier than a friend party.
